Backstory
Debut: Pending Joined: 2/1/2025 (founding) Birthday: October 11 Height: 191 cm/6'3" Hair: Black, graying Eyes: Red Species: Vampire Fanbase Name: Survivors Yoru Reiji was an average middle-aged office worker, economically precarious and often too busy focusing on survival to enjoy his passions or the company of his friends and family. Then his employer made a shady business dealing at the expense of the wrong people. The massacre was swift and bloody, but luckily, the vampires realized in time that Reiji was not one of their targets. Bleeding out on the floor, Reiji recounted in excruciating detail his regrets in life and what he would do differently. As if answering a wish, one of the vampires turned Reiji into one of their own before he could die of his wounds, giving him the second chance at life he only then realized he wanted. With his mundane life giving way to a much more free undeath, Reiji intends to spend as much of his eternity as possible doing what he loves with the people he loves, all while searching out those humans who are surviving their own mortality in much the same way he was, in hopes of giving them a newfound sense of community. Surrounded by his found family in V-ism and a growing following of Survivors, Reiji's existence is far less grandiose than that of most vampires, but the meaning he finds in it is profound. He values this tranquility greatly, even if he is occasionally nagged by lingering thoughts of all the good he could do for society if he embraced his new nature more fully.
